About the NLLGI Pilot Program
The National LGBTQ Legacy Giving Initiative includes a three-year pilot project that includes 12 LGBTQ+ nonprofits as key partners. Selected out of more than three dozen that applied, these organizations represent a cross-section of the LGBTQ community across the country. The goal is to help them build legacy-giving capacity and, most importantly, for the NLLGI to learn from this pilot project and use that knowledge to shape a much more ambitious future effort.
The program includes in-depth training, on-going professional support, marketing and stewardship assistance, access to resources, and more. All participants will receive annual grants to recognize each group’s commitment. In addition, these organizations will be able to leverage additional funds through a powerful incentive program that will fuel both legacy and annual giving.
